Promoting Translingual/Transcultural Competence Through Interdisciplinarity

Motivated by the 2007 MLA report, this session reports on 3 interdisciplinary curricular and extracurricular language department endeavors undertaken to promote multilingualism, generate interest in language study, and broaden the view of what language study entails.
