AMERICAN ASSOCIATION OF UNIVERSITY SUPERVISORS, COORDINATORS, AND DIRECTORS OF LANGUAGE PROGRAMS |
Meet the AAUSC LeadershipThe American Association of University Supervisors, Coordinators, and Directors of Language Programs (AAUSC) is a national organization dedicated to the advancement of foreign language, second language, and heritage language instruction in higher education. Since 1980, our mission has centered on promoting effective teaching practices, supporting the professional development of language program personnel, and fostering research in second language acquisition and teacher preparation. AAUSC board members and leadership represent a broad range of languages, institutions, and professional experiences. Together, they guide the organization’s strategic direction, oversee its publications—including Second Language Research and Practice (SLRP)—and facilitate opportunities for networking, advocacy, and professional growth. Our leadership includes the president, vice president, past-president, secretary, treasurer, language conveners, editors of SLRP, webmaster, and the graduate student representative. We invite you to connect with our leadership and learn more about the ways AAUSC supports language program directors and supervisors across the country. |
